New year, new kitchen trends. While minimalism and increased gold appliances were enormous for 2018, the new year is bringing in a couple of unique ideas for the heart of the home. If you are planning a kitchen reno--or just need to be inspired--you need to understand what designers do for 2019. We talked with some of our trusted resources to hear what they're seeinginstalling and -- --this season.

1.
"I love the swing toward bold colored cabinetry instead of the anticipated white," designer Danielle Rollins informs House Beautiful. "It really provides a kitchen a personality and finish. "Denise McGaha agrees, saying she is using colour on walls, cabinets, as well as appliances (like a plum-colored LaCanche range she is currently installing for one blessed client). Need a push? What is this pantry by Jim Dove for inspiration?

2. Minty Fresh
Even more especially, designers state mint green is your colour du jour. Everybody appears to need light green cabinetry," says Jennifer Beek Hunter, proving this kitchen by Young Huh from 2012 is still piled in style.

3. Natural Stone
To balance out all this colour, incorporate natural elements. In accordance with Los Angeles-based Natalie Meyers,"individuals are falling in love with all the subjective canvases painted by Mother Nature and utilizing natural stone beyond countertops. Designers are ongoing the stone material to waterfall tall and edges backsplashes." Sometimes they carry the stone all the way into the ceiling, and you can even fabricate drawer fronts and hood vent covers from natural stone.

4. Matte Black Everything

Meanwhile, as cabinets are becoming bolder, some appliances are carrying a different type of remarkable turn. "Matte black fittings and hardware are growing in popularity," Meyers says. "What was once a stark option in all white modern kitchens is now a fun approach to subtly add comparison to timber cabinets and much more traditional, Shaker-style kitchens"

5. High Tech
As our devices get smarter, so, too, do our kitchens. 1 trend designer Niki Papadopoulos doesn't see going anywhere is"technology effortlessly incorporated into appliances," she says. The perfect example? Samsung's Family Hub refrigerator, which features a touch screen, inside cameras, and WiFi connectivity, so you can search recipes from the refrigerator, see what's inside while you are shopping, and leave reminders and notes to family members. Does not get much smarter than that.
