There are tons of gadgets available targeted at helping us with the daunting task of falling asleep--weighted blankets, noise machines, noise cancelling cushions, you name it. However, these flats in London to take it one step further--fine, multiple steps--by designing whole rooms round the notion of falling and staying asleep.
Design-focused serviced apartment manufacturer Cuckooz teamed up using a UK-based mattress firm, Simba, to make three flats in Spitalfields, which is near Liverpool Street in London.
"The Woom Room" bed has become easily the most fascinating portion of the sleep-inducing apartments--the framework itself uses slats of plywood fitted together to make a sense of being enclosed into a mother's uterus, mimicking a cocoon-like layout.
