Colours can hold tons of hidden significance from a decorating perspective. Red, for instance, is often utilised to stimulate hunger, blue is viewed as a relaxing color, and yellow is supposed to make us feel happier. Our preferences of those colours can show a lot about our own characters, especially if we use them to adorn the walls of our personal refuge: our bedrooms. What color you paint your bedroom can show a lot about who you are, so can the shade, saturation, and brightness of each hue. |} So what does your bedroom colour reveal about you?
We have enlisted Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute and author of book Colours for Your Every Mood, to break things down to us, color by color.|}
Yellow is luminous and warm and so are the people who prefer it," says Eiseman. |} They love innovation and creativity.
Shades of the purple household are often preferred by people who have an extremely creative streak, and Lilac fans hope for uniqueness but lean into the more sentimental, softer aspect of purple.
"Blue fans are totally dedicated to the colour. If darker blues are your favorites, you prefer the colors that feel as the descending twilight hours--quiet, calm and thoughtful."
