Colours can hold tons of hidden significance from a decorating standpoint. Red, for example, is frequently used to stimulate hunger, blue is seen as a calming color, and yellow is supposed to make us feel more happy. Our tastes of these colours can reveal a lot about our own characters, especially if we use them to decorate the walls of our personal refuge: our bedrooms. colour you paint your bedroom can reveal a lot about who you are, and so can the colour, saturation, and brightness of every hue. |} What exactly does your bedroom colour reveal about you?

We've enlisted Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute and author of book Colours for Your Every Mood, to break down things for us, color by color.|}

Yellow is luminous and warm and so are the people who prefer it," says Eiseman. |} They adore innovation and creativity.

Colors of the purple household are often preferred by those who have a highly creative streak, and Lilac fans aspire for uniqueness but lean into the more sentimental, softer side of purple.

"Blue fans are entirely devoted to the colour. If deeper blues are the favorites, you would like the colors that feel like the descending twilight hourssilent , calm and thoughtful."

"Lighter blues are always associated with the sky and water--clean, clear, open and expansive would explain the way you prefer to feel on your environment." |}

"Teal blues possess a tad more sophistication because of their thickness. The man or woman who prefers this colour enjoys the elegance [it], as it reveals character elements that combine both blue and green traits"

"Red requires attention, and thus will the lover of red. It's dynamic, impossible to dismiss, impulsive and extroverted--attributes which might well explain the person who's attracted to this extreme and passionate shade."
